As part of the focal point for strategic litigation, humanrights.ch will organize several workshops in 2022 under the title “How to ECHR”. These will focus on imparting knowledge on strategic litigation before the European Court of Human Rights. The proceedings before the ECtHR are technically demanding. So far, only a few lawyers have experience in proceedings before the ECtHR. The workshops are intended to contribute to the transfer of knowledge about (strategic) litigation before the ECtHR.

Today, only few dispute the need for gender equality.
All should receive the same pay for the same work, all should be able to vote and thus contribute to the political life of a country, and all must have access to education.
But is that enough? The concept of equality, at the core of so many debates and actions, deserves reflection. What do we mean by equality? How is its understanding translated into reality? Representatives from different areas of civil society will jointly discuss these questions.
